Random, anonymous conversations with real people. Start with text or a voice call, share who you are only when you both want to, and keep the good ones in My Connects.
Tick the box to accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, then sign in with Google. You must be 18 or older.
Pick a username and add a photo, bio, interests and languages. Everything you add that is private stays hidden until you choose to share it.
In the lobby, tap Start Chatting for text or Start Video Call for a voice-first call. We find someone for you.
Talk, play a game, or tap Next to meet someone else. If you click, use Share Connect to stay in touch.
Anonymous text only. No camera or microphone needed, perfect for shy days and slow connections.
Calls start voice-only. Your camera stays off until you both tap the camera button, so video is never forced on anyone.
Match by interests: switch on “Include your profile interests while connecting” in the lobby. We first look for someone who shares at least one of your interests; if nobody turns up within 30 seconds, you are matched with anyone. When it works, you both see “You both like: …”.
Next ends the conversation and finds someone new straight away. Exit takes you back to the lobby, including while you are still waiting.
Tap the camera to ask. The other person sees your request and turns video on by tapping theirs too. After that, each of you can switch your own camera off and on.
When a call goes quiet for 8 seconds (or a text chat for 30 seconds), a conversation prompt appears. Tap Another for a new one, or in text chats Ask this to send it.
Tap CC in a call to read what the other person says. Captions are made on their device and, if your browser can, translated into your language. The button appears only when their browser supports it.
In a text chat, tap Call. If the other person agrees, you both move straight into a private call together.
Tap the shield at any time. Blocking ends the conversation and you will never be matched again. Reporting also tells us what happened.
Tap Games in any chat or call and pick one. The other person gets an invite and can say yes or no (invites expire after 20 seconds). You can send 3 invites per conversation; rematches are free.
Open My Connects from the lobby to see everyone you have connected with.
Invite a connect to Chat or Call again. They get a notification and have 10 minutes to accept. The Friendship Clock grows as you talk: Friends at 5 hours, Good Friends at 20, Close Friends at 50 and Best Friends at 200.
Invites to talk again and requests to connect. Accept, decline (privately) or block.
Your last 20 conversations. Strangers stay anonymous, but you can still send them a Share Connect request.
Search by exact username and send a connect request. Who can find you depends on your privacy setting.
Everyone you have blocked. Unblock them here if you change your mind.
Email ping.connectra@gmail.com from the address you sign in with. See the Privacy Policy for what is removed and what is kept for safety reasons.
Allow camera and microphone access for this site in your browser (look for the camera icon in the address bar), close other apps using the camera, then tap Try again or reload.
There may be few people online in that mode right now. Try the other mode, switch interest matching off, or come back a little later. We also avoid pairing you straight back with the person you just left.
A weak connection usually causes this. We try to reconnect automatically; if it fails you are matched with someone new. Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi often helps.
Subtitles are made on the other person's device, so the button appears only when their browser supports on-device speech recognition (for example, a recent desktop Chrome).
